Por si las Moscas
My dad used to take me to work with him when I would have some off time during school. We would usually paint walls, power wash, or something else that made paying the bills possible. When I’d go with him, he would remind me to bring a change of clothes or a sweater, “por si las moscas”, or just in case. After my dad passed away in 2014, I felt a sense of urgency to photography my family out of fear of forgetting and just in case of anything. Because of this, my memories have become the thing that I cherish most in my life. Since his passing I have been photographing my family, my home and places or things that remind me of him while also documenting my family’s attempt to fill his shoes as time moves on.
I am currently working on putting together Volume Four of this project.
